art homework assignment. boring.

Taking an art major was only fun first quarter and last quarter. First quarter because we used a notebook thing, fourth quarter because I got to go around the city every weekend.

2nd and 3rd quarter was just doing still lives or following bogus themes.

Sequential art was a bit of a bust second semester. It's a minor class, so no homework, right? I animated pretty well and my character design was solid for the most part, but I didn't have time to render it as the year came to a close. Stayed after school several days as long as I could, worked during my free and lunch period, etc. Got a B+ in the class because I never rendered my animation.

Not that a B+ is bad, but it's art class for god's sake. It's sort of disappointing given the amount of extra work put in to it outside of class.

Well, I learned a lot in that class, at least, and the teacher is a beast. Hopefully I won't have to drop it next year.
